1101 weaver #168: about business Weaver was prepared to have a bad reaction to meeting Robert because he was told the guy looked like his captor from long ago, but immediately upon meeting him he got entirely different vibes and relaxed. Over a meal at the fire, the group chats about their preferences for the house design, and Robert seems comfortable asking Weaver for his input. He doesn't know what he wants but he's happy to be considered, and wants to know if he can check out the house plans when they're made since that sounds interesting to him. He's surprised Robert is so comfortable dealing with them like they're ordinary people. 1102 adele #268: beyond us After Robert heads home after the big meeting, Adele has to resume her usual duties, including putting the kids to bed. Tab and Thursday want to talk about why they brought Robert there and don't handle the idea of a person outside their group very well. Adele explains that he's going to make them a house and they can have a room, and she comforts them over their fear. They then squabble over their doll before going to bed, and Adele feels satisfied with how they've handled this change. 1103 ivy #365: what our courage has earned us Ivy wakes up the morning after her mission and Adele greets her with a debrief request. They discuss the mission and Ivy admits that even though everything went so well, she did feel especially weird explaining her abilities to Robert. Adele empathizes and Ivy realizes even more what Adele experiences along the same lines. Adele is extremely proud of Ivy even though Ivy feels that Adele really orchestrated everything and she just carried it out. But she does feel more confident about future missions and this one moving forward, and they're both ready to enjoy the spoils of what they've just accomplished. 1104 weaver #169: fast instincts Weaver sneaks up on Ivy while she's deep in thought, surprises her, and finds himself reflexively smacked into the sand by Ivy's energy. His arm is only mildly hurt, but Ivy immediately beats herself up about it, disappointed in her own instincts, while Weaver tries to convince her it was his own fault for surprising her knowing what she's capable of. 1105 ivy #366: yell at me Feeling that she deserves punishment for mildly injuring Weaver by accident, Ivy is frustrated that Weaver won't scold her, so she approaches Alix looking to get dressed down. Alix isn't having it even though Ivy basically begs to be yelled at, and he agrees that if she had an accident, Weaver's the one who made the mistake. Alix turns Ivy away, annoyed, when she asks him to channel his feelings he had toward her when she broke his arm when she was little. He tells her that she's the only one who wants her to be yelled at, so she ought to just yell at herself--he doesn't want to be the one she turns to to feel bad on purpose. 1106 adele #269: the foundation Robert visits again, better prepared for a water travel experience and with new ideas for the house. He discusses the house's foundation and what special processes will need to be done to build a house on a beach, and Adele is happy to offer her investigative services to determine the depth of the bedrock. They also discuss what the house will be outfitted for and how many bedrooms they want--Adele says fourteen (which surprises Alix). They also discuss how to get the materials to the beach. Adele is excited that they are both bringing each other into their world a little more. 1107 dax #158: invasive The preliminary foundation processes have begun on the house and Dax finds it upsetting, so he goes into the woods to be away from the booming that's happening as Ivy is driving piles for supports on the house. He reflects on how he's not against the house building or mad at Robert or anyone else, but he just feels unsettled about the entire process and doesn't want to experience it directly. Weaver joins him in the forest and they have a quick chat, acknowledging that they understand it's not hurting the Earth and nature does far more destructive things on its own all the time, but they're allowed to find it off-putting and quietly avoid being witnesses. 1108 ivy #367: finally Ivy has finished putting piles into the ground under Robert's instruction and the group discusses what's next. Adele tells Ivy she looks pale and should rest and hydrate, even though she's adamant that the heavy lifting did not bother her. But when she reflects on it alone, she realizes how much she enjoyed really letting loose and using her energy in such a powerful way, and it bothers her that other people wouldn't understand her experience and would probably think it was scary.
