NOTES FROM OTHERS:
But my favorite scene is the last one, where she's curled up next to Fred. It's a perfect Couple pose!
The one criticism I have for the art is the hands. They are a bit too small in some of the frames, most noticibly in the one where Meri Lin is using chopsticks. But it's hard to draw hands, so I'm not hung up on it. :)
A very sweet comic, giving more exposition on Meri Lin's and Fred's relationship as well as her feelings about her family's culture.

I love the detail like that found in the 3rd frame or scene it shows the time and effort was given to the story and the characters nice job keep me informed.

It's interesting to hear more of Meri Lin's background. It certainly adds more depth to her characterization; I like the wide-frame of her and Fred talking in the flower shop. Fred looks like he's think, "Wow, she's really pretty!"" or agreeing with what she's saying mentally, thinking "That's a good point. She's a smart one..."
