I am not sure how to take Meri Lin gong to pieces like that. She looks absolutely deranged in that panel where she's talking about Amanda in the sky.

I can't even imagine what it is like to have a kid go missing. It must be the worst thing. I mean, you always hold out hope that you find her, but at some point you start thinking she's dead, and you never know if/when you should start the grieving process. :(
