CHERIE

First mentioned in Issue #0667, Cherie makes her first actual appearance in the comic in Issue #0945. She is a good friend of Alix's and was willing to let him stay with her during the stretch of time when he was healing from his broken arm. In her first on-screen appearance, Cherie allows Alix to bring Ivy to her apartment and watch a Superman movie on VHS. Cherie's presence made Ivy reluctant to ask questions about the movie (not to mention Alix encouraged her to just watch it). She does not react with any kind of suspicion when Ivy makes an odd comment about Superman's powers, and later when they leave to go home, Cherie encourages Alix to not be a stranger.
