The nephew seems to be a bit slow... Did you intend for him to be that way? I think now is the first time I have grasped the captor to be truly an "asshole." 7-8 months, and he has kept a self-aware, sentient, verbal creature like Weaver like that in a cage, like a pet. It's so horribly not right.
