ROBERT

Robert is a very intelligent and successful architect, but he has a whimsical side. Unfortunately, his artistic interests do not match his skills; while he can express his visions within the confines of architectural drawings, he finds himself unable to capture beauty in other ways that he wishes to. He meets Ivy with the understanding that she will help him with a gift for his wife, with whom Robert's twentieth anniversary is approaching. They married rather late in life at a point in both their lives when they had assumed they would never find anyone. Robert treasures his wife and is grateful for her every day.

Robert is on the tall side of average, weight on the high side of average, and in his late fifties. He is white with brown hair, brown eyes, and a brown mustache (and advanced male-pattern baldness). He wears glasses and usually wears collared shirts and slacks at work, and relaxes in polo shirts and jeans. His interests besides art appreciation, architecture, and his wife include volunteering, obscure sports, bell collecting, folklore, and reading mystery and detective stories. He wishes that he and his wife had had kids.
