I knew someone engaged to a Big Cat trainer. They were playing with the nice leopard on wet grass (bad idea). While the cat kept his claws sheathed while playing, his paw slipped on the grass, and the claws came out instinctively for traction. One raked across her arm, severing tendons, nerves down to the bone. The leopard was so sorry. It was an accident!
Fortunately, modern medical tech can repair that.
I can easily see something like that happening with Tabitha. |
