Aww! Shows rather than tells what Ivy is missing by living the life she lives. It's really amazing that she does as well as she does. It takes human contact to grow up to be human. Then I reflect on the four aliens - including the angelic one - and feel the lack of words for sapient non-humans. Extra-terrestrial intelligence. Flying girl. Want Ivy to be both full and different.
