Did Dax and Weaver appear in Illinois?

No. Do you believe there's an ocean in Illinois? Dax came out of a pool near the ocean when he met with the hippies, and they returned him to the same pool, where he and Weaver live now. Nothing in the story implies that Adele is or was near Dax and Weaver.
