Discussion question of the week:
Teach Me

Have you ever been asked to teach someone a skill you possess? Under what circumstances are you a good teacher? Will your personal feelings about your student usually put aside during the teaching, or will they affect how you proceed?

NOTES FROM OTHERS:

Synesthesia6/26/101:49
Weaver is so cute there should be a toy of him.
SHO!6/26/103:58
Dax seems to be really bullying Weaver. That feels odd to me.

This Alix, I really don't like the way he said, "their slimy towns," again he sounds like a snob and a tool. Actually, how does he sound? Any kind of accent or voice inflection to report back on?

?Z?

swankivy:
Alix doesn't have a particularly noticeable accent, but he grew up in Wisconsin if that helps. His voice is at the high end of baritone in pitch. Right now he's being very careful about how he presents himself given his company, but normally he does tend to have a sort of sarcastic or disgusted edge in his speech--I guess you'll see more of this later.

I am very intrigued. I've read a little bit about Alix in the extracts on your website, but I still know practically nothing about him apart from the name. So yeah. \o/

Clearly Weaver never saw Water World.

This character is certainly becoming more and more interesting... could he be am off-worlder too?

swankivy:
Heh, well, that movie predates these events. It came out in 1995 while this scene happened in 1987. :)

I'll leave the question alone, though--you'll see the applicable details of Alix's origin if you keep reading.
