Meri Lin seems to be in the midst of some "survivor's guilt" right now, despite the fact her baby is missing rather than dead. I hope she actually does give herself permission to be happy even during such a difficult time. Certainly as a mother, Meri Lin is very concerned for Amanda's well-being, but she must also attend to her own as well.
