I really wasn't being incredulous or derisive. The internet loses tone in translation. That genuinely raised a flag in my head that this might not be the mid-late 2000s (when you were writing this) like I thought, because arcades gradually faded away when home consoles were getting big through the 90s.

I regularly went to an arcade in my local mall throughout the mid to late 2000s. You're right that this wasn't written in the present day (or what the present day was when I was writing this issue). You're wrong that the existence of an arcade dates this comic, even if you're kidding.
