I know exactly what Weaver is talking about when he reflects on finding a home. I used to have a studio in SoHo that talked back to me. When I first found it and said, "hello," my environment said, "hello," right back! Sometimes a few times! That's how I knew it was home. But then I put in carpeting and furniture and I guess it didn't like my choices because it stopped replying to me right after. It held the grudge the entire time I lived there and didn't speak to me again until I left years later and we said, "Goodbye," to each other. >>tear<<
