NOTES FROM OTHERS:
I don't blame Fred. Using stencils and painting freehand is hard enough but doing so in direct, straight lines? It's really tough! But the tedddy bears are cute.
I like names. I've already made name lists - not just for future babies, but for future characters (if I were to write a story for class or something, at least they'd have a special name). Anyway, I like how you've made it a part of this comic - it adds so much to the relationship between these three: Meri Lin, Fred, and the unborn child.
Favorite stuff: Fred wanting to give their child a name that means "smart" in hopes that it will come true = smile. And the line "love created her and love will sustain her" really stood out and carried the general tone of this week's comic: loving expectance.
Any comments left here are PUBLIC. If you are not comfortable with that, mail me directly.

I like the story and the way that the name to be given is one that means to be loved, as always the point was well received. As I think that what was said here in dialog is of the utmost importance. (It has my attention), fully.

I'm fairly impressed with the lighting in the very first frame! Wow, cool.
