NIGHT COP

In Issue #0570, a policeman responds to a night clerk's phone call about a young child alone and hurt wandering into the store. He interacts with the clerk--with whom he is disappointed for not taking any initiative to talk to the child--and then he interacts with Ivy. She wants help with her chest wound and wants to be fed, so the policeman believes she is an abused child and prepares to take care of her needs, whether that involves bringing her back to her parents or investigating a bad situation. But Ivy has no patience for him asking her questions and wanting her to get in a car, so she easily removes his grip from her hand and makes her escape.
