SIXTH-GRADE SHOPPER

In Issue #0921, Alix and Ivy go to a drugstore on an errand--Ivy has tagged along because she was bored--and she meets another girl about her age in the hair accessories aisle. She attempts to help the girl find a headband in the color she wants, and the girl compliments Ivy on the length of her hair and its creative multi-braid style. When the girl asks her what grade she's in, Ivy doesn't know how to answer, but Alix interrupts and leads her out of the store. Ivy later expresses regret that she won't be able to find this girl and make friends with her, and she really enjoyed talking to someone else her age. She liked the flower decorations on the girl's pants.
