Adele is forgetting that Tabitha taught her English in the first place! Well... yeah, she actually literally did forget that, but you know what I mean. We need to be setting up Ivy's future of getting sent to the Shioan worlds for the dimensional wars!

Yep. But Tabitha doesn't speak Shioan fluently, so she found it easier to teach Adele than to learn her family's language so they could communicate. It made sense for them since Adele would be sent to the human world. There is no balancing reason for Ivy to know Shioan.

Oh, will Ivy learn Spanish? Alix doesn't know it though.

You're right, there's no one to teach her (and no immediate reason for her to know another language).
