I was also thinking as her teeth did not fall out maybe this won't happen, either. But I was only thinking about the period, not other signs of puberty.

So Adele is speaking for all human women here, who she hardly ever knew or interacted with? And if we're assuming her furry species is pretty not-alien in all things but their appearance, she has amnesia, so she forgot her home world and even Tabitha mostly.

She doesn't need to have current human woman friends to know this is a shitty dynamic that happens sometimes between men and women, especially since she's talking to a man who has personally made disparaging comments about periods and moodiness before (on the page, elsewhere in this comic). Questioning why she knows a specific thing is weird when her specialty is knowing things in general. And if you're suggesting you don't think periods affect her species, Adele has also talked about her period on the page in this comic. She bought menstrual products in a store shortly after she arrived in the human world.
