In issue 328, Tonya's mother Tina needed to take Ivy somewhere safe on short notice, and it turned out she had this friend Alma who works custodial staff at a nearby hotel. Alma announces her lack of judgment on the situation--apparently she's provided hotel rooms for Tina before, suggesting Tina has needed to personally flee her husband before--but she does say she feels reservations because the baby is so young. Tina reveals that the baby isn't a normal baby and Alma is surprisingly unfazed. She says she's seen weirder. And after Ivy has had a nice rest, Alma connects her with Melanie and sees them out, calling Ivy an Earth spirit.
