The Flash!

Adele and Tabitha--along with the whole prophet community--have been anticipating the monumental "flash," which is rarer than a solar eclipse but a lot more significant. Through the study of the flash--known in Adele's language as ai-shaifa--the prophets learn about the different worlds, and can sometimes travel to them. In issue #0042, Adele and Tabitha witness the beginning of the flash, and during this phenomenon, Adele discovers that the new world she'd anticipated actually has two sentient species--a never-before-seen situation. And, of course, once the flash is over, Adele has to begin planning her journey away from home. . . .
