A very sad--yet very important--part of Adele's starting her new life is having to say goodbye to her family, more than likely forever. Though Adele was never particularly close with her parents because her teacher did most of the work involved in raising her, it certainly isn't pleasant for Adele to have to leave her birth family (and the world of her race), and it is especially difficult to leave her baby sister Lafee, who isn't old enough to understand what's happening or why. In issue #0092, Adele bids her family farewell and goes on to meet her teacher for the last lesson before departing. |
