"G" Family

In Issue #0258, baby Ivy experiments with letting herself fall and catching herself--playing fun flying games. One frame shows a mother and daughter watching her perform this stunt through an open window, with the mother encouraging her daughter to "go get your brother's camera." In a later issue, Issue #0261, Meri Lin finds a tabloid called Portal that has a photograph these two evidently took of Ivy flying over the city. The mother's name is revealed to be "Janine G" and her daughter Christina is mentioned. (The brother, whose camera was borrowed for the photo, was not mentioned.) We learn from the article that Janine watched Ivy play and interpreted it as a game, though she did not know if she was seeing "an alien or a superhero's baby or a Hollywood stunt." She seems like a superstitious sort as she mentioned wanting to be considered for alien first contact, plus the fact that she considered sending this photograph to Portal in the first place.
