THE EXORCISTS

Meri Lin calls the exorcists in Issue #0055 when she's freaking out about what is causing the mysterious happenings in her apartment. Two men--a tall blond man with glasses and a shorter brown-haired man with a close-cropped haircut--arrive in response to her call and take a tour of Meri Lin's apartment, listening to her describe the scary and unexplained things that have happened since her baby Amanda was born.

An unexplained happening occurs while Meri Lin is giving them more information: a ball begins to bounce on its own, but after they attempt to stop the manifestation with holy water and chants, one of the men notes that Amanda's eyes are tracking it. They are able to trace the strange behavior to the baby, and though they want Meri Lin to schedule a full proper exorcism for Amanda, Meri Lin has concluded that this is some unexplained ability her baby possesses, not an issue with possession or evil.
